Every day for a month I planned to paint a new design using “one stroke” technique. One stroke involves the use of “stripey” paints (see some of the images below and previous post). With a 3/4″ flat brush it is possible to pick up multiple colours at once, and with one motion create an effortless blending effect. Here are days 7-12.
I just love adult face painting!! It’s such a joy to paint canvasses that stay still ❤ These beautiful faces are from a truly fabulous glitter infused night at Bloomsbury Bowling Lanes ~ DISCO DUMP ~ using lots of rainbow cakes and Lea Selley stencils 🙂 Scroll down for close ups xo
This Valentine’s Day, which coincided with the ‘fabulousness’ that is Brazilian Carnival, I was back at Guanabara, Holborn London, painting faces. My queue was enormous!! Non-stop for 4 hrs. Here are a just a few of the happy faces 🙂

Merriment in Melton! Here are two of the bar staff I painted at the Noel’s Arms event in Melton last Sunday. It was a fantastic atmosphere with band The Peas playing familiar hits in folky style.
Clown eyes based on a Jenny Saunders design. Candy mask influenced by many masquerades, using my own split cake I call “Candy Buffet”.
